Being part of a locally distributed team, the circumstances during the Corona crisis are quite challenging. Nevertheless, this situation can provide an excellent chance to foster teambuilding opportunities using remote games. Regardless of now, the trends show that in the next five years there will be over 40 percent growth in remote work. The need to foster remote opportunities for collaboration will continue. It becomes ever more important to give teams the possibility to create a digital space to grow closer together rather than becoming devoured by the challenges that come along with the remote situation. These challenges range from the need to establish a common corporate culture based on shared values, to work with cultural differences, to properly track projects, tasks and productivity, to overcome feelings of individual isolation, bad health habits and troubles with staying motivated and overcoming distractions.
